Each contemporary lamp uses the centuries-old engobe technique. In this process, the greige and denim base accents are applied before the satin papyrus porcelain is kiln-fired. Then, artists take each one and add black stroke details, which end up a shade of indigo once dried. The base is crafted from wood and finished silver leaf, elevating the look and adding a hint of shine. Topped with a tapered, taupe sheer microfiber shade with an ivory cotton lining. Handmade details and finish will vary.
