Designer Chandeliers

Explore Designer Chandelier Styles

Our collection of chandeliers spans four categories that speak different visual languages:

  • Decorative fixtures that lead with personality and layered detail, often in tiered or sculptural forms
  • Oversized designs that make a statement in grand entryways and spaces with double-height ceilings
  • Linear chandeliers that run horizontally for dining tables, islands, and elongated surfaces
  • Natural designs that draw from organic materials for warmth and character

Start with the silhouette that suits your space, then refine from there.

Choose a Dining Room Chandelier for the Table

For rectangular or oval tables, a linear chandelier echoes the table’s footprint, while round or sculptural forms tend to feel more balanced atop a circular table. To nail the scale, aim for a fixture that spans roughly half to two-thirds the table’s length, with at least 12” of clearance on each side, and hang the bottom of the chandelier 30–36” above the tabletop.

Find a Chandelier for Living Rooms and Open Plans

For a living room that feels intentional, position the chandelier over the seating arrangement rather than centering it rigidly in the room. In open-plan layouts, an oversized chandelier can serve as an architectural boundary, visually separating the living from the dining area without closing either off.

Match Modern Chandeliers to Contemporary Interiors

Defined structure and rich materials feel right at home in a contemporary space. Our modern chandeliers prioritize clean geometric forms and mixed-material combinations, like blackened iron and brushed bronze, to add visual complexity without visual noise. But there’s also magic in creating contrast: Try a sculptural organic chandelier over a sleek minimal table or a refined linear fixture in antique brass within a room full of cool concrete and matte surfaces.

Discover Luxury Chandelier Finishes and Materials

Our metalwork runs the full tonal range, from warm antique brass to soft and subtle brushed nickel, often combined within a single fixture for a layered finish quality that reads differently depending on the light and time of day. Glass choices move from clear and open to seeded, smoked, and ribbed options that add character and diffuse the light into something softer, while natural textures like woven rattan and wood adds a rich, organic quality.

Get the Details Right: Size, Height, and Dimming

Size it up: Add the length and width of your room in feet, then convert that sum to inches to find a reliable starting-point diameter for your chandelier (a 12’ × 14’ room suggests ~26”). Over a dining table, aim for a fixture spanning half to two-thirds the table’s length with at least 12” of clearance on each side.

Hit the right height: Keep at least 7’ of clearance from floor to fixture bottom, and for every foot of ceiling above 8’, add roughly 3” of additional drop. Hang 30–36” above the tabletop.

Check compatibility: LED bulbs paired with an older incandescent dimmer will often flicker or buzz, even if everything seems compatible on paper. So before purchasing a dimmer, confirm it’s rated for LED loads and matches the wattage range of your specific fixture.

Why Choose Chandeliers From Arteriors

Every chandelier is designed in-house with the same material rigor as the rest of the collection, hand-finished metalwork, glass sourced for character, and proportions resolved at full scale rather than on a spec sheet. Our fixtures act as artful pieces whether they’re switched on or off.
